比赛回顾：众将协力 火箭力克快船
　　开局火箭迅速进入状态，史密斯与阿西克均连续砍分，书豪也冲篮入球，火箭打出8-2开局。巴特勒与格林连入远投助快船持续追击，乔丹也连有灌篮；随着书豪突分连遭保罗抢断，快船已是追上。首节结束前保罗射入三分球，快船29-28超出。
　　克劳福德助快船在次节前段33-30领先。火箭此后积极逼抢压迫，快船近5分钟时间只罚球得到1分，德尔菲诺、加西亚远投率火箭形成12-1攻势，火箭42-34将比分拉开。保罗与格里芬带动快船涨分，加西亚次节13分火力仍助火箭55-50结束上半场。
　　进入第三节阿西克内线连入3球，书豪也冲篮制造保罗犯规，至帕森斯射入三分球，火箭67-54建立起两位数优势。
　　第三节后段书豪再造保罗犯规，保罗与格里芬也接连进攻犯规；火箭士气高涨完全压制住快船，三节结束已85-63领先。
　　末节前3分钟火箭没有涨分，快船以8-0攻势追至71-85。德尔菲诺此后先有打三分，很快又射入三分球，而保罗虽连续入球却又领到第5次犯规。末节4分半钟德尔菲诺再度砍分，火箭95-75重建20分优势，已确定胜局。末节后3分钟火箭已轮换替补，小布登场亮相。最终火箭98-81奏凯。

　　次节中段火箭一波12-1攻势建立优势，其间格里芬非常生气——安德森抢断快攻时，格里芬追到篮下故意犯规拦截，裁判根据规则判给火箭“2罚1掷”机会，格里芬虽是抱怨，裁判仍根据回放坚定判罚；安德森罚球后，格里芬一把抓过篮球侧向发力摔了出去，裁判果断判定格里芬技术犯规。片刻后格里芬也形成抢断快攻，当然是要飞行灌篮泄怒了。
　　格里芬的火气能就此平息么？第三节裁判频频鸣哨，保罗防守书豪犯规后又被判定进攻犯规；而格里芬中路强突跃起，与书豪空中对撞将书豪撞翻，裁判也判定格里芬进攻犯规，格里芬瞬间已是爆怒状，队友霍林斯赶忙过来一把抱住他。
